About
I am a designer artist.
I explore the relationship of body in space, movement and textile.
I find following my intuitive impulses to be rugged yet graceful.
I believe we can reveal humanity through textile and movement and trust that humanity shines through collaboration.
I am the Costume Studio Supervisor and Costume Designer for the Dance Department at California State University, Long Beach. I have an MFA in Costume Design from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Theater from Florida State University. In the past I have worked for companies such as The Santa Fe Opera (apprentice), American Players Theatre (assistant costume designer) , Intel Corporation (costume designer), LA Contemporary Dance Company (costume & installation design), Kevin Williamson + co (costume design), and Opera pa Skaret in Sweden (associate costume designer). I have spent time abroad in both London and India. Adrift, an MFA Thesis project, was displayed as a part of USITT's Emerging Artist Exhibit at the Prague Quadrenniel 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic.
